He dons totally a striking look - with stylish beard, unlit cigar and black glasses. The ‘Asal’ look is grabbing attention and Ajith is carrying a never-before look. He will share chemistry with Bollywood hottie Sameera Reddy and Kerala ponnu Bhavana. Bannered under Sivaji Productions, the movie is produced by Prabhu and directed by Saran. Expectations are running high amidst Ajith’s followers and as ‘Modhi Vilaiyadu’ is generating good response, Saran is pinning on this one.

But did you know that this is the first Tamil movie that will be stepping onto Russian lands? Yes, ‘Asal’ is one of the first South Indian films which are going to be screened in Russia.

Recently, Russian Union of Cinematography and Indo-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Chennai had entered into an agreement. It was formed in a way to promote South Indian Cinema and its films. Besides ‘Asal’, many other popular Tamil movies are said to be dubbed in Russian language. The list includes hits films like Kamal Haasan’s ‘Anbe Sivam’ and ‘Dasavatharam’ and Rajinikanth’s ‘Chandramukhi’, among others.
